Stony's Back

Ronald Martinez

The Good: Average team faced rated #64 for the season in FBS only rankings, and #91 in all divisions ranking.

The Bad: Best win was against #95 Miami (FBS only), or #115 WMU (all divisions). No matter how much you want to spin Buffalo being competitive against good teams, we were 0-5 against top 60 teams and 0-4 against teams ranked between 60 and 82 (FBS only). In the all divisions ranking, UB was 0-3 against top 50 teams, but also 0-5 agianst temas ranked 50-90. Their four wins were against teams ranked 115, 119, 175 and 234.

The Ugly: Technically ranked behind Stony Brook again, Stony averages rank in the 3 all division polls is 119.667, while UB comes in at 120.333. Stony defeated Villanova in the first round of the FCS playoffs and they move on to face #3 Montana State.
