Our opponents Season to date: Miami

After a slow start can Miami repeat last seasons late run?
After a slow start can Miami repeat last seasons late run?

For the few, the fortunate, college football is a time when each and every game becomes more important than the last. This week that is true for neither Buffalo nor Miami.

Sure Technically the Bulls and RedHawks can make six wins but Buffalo has no room for error and the RedHawks play WMU, Temple, and Ohio. Even if one or both of these teams get their head above water its rather unlikely either will be bowling (unless Miami wins out). So this week is all about pride.

For Miami it's about showing they have not fallen very far. Sure their record is awful but they have run a prototypical RedHawk Schedule. So far the only really "bad loss" would be the stinker they put up against Jerry Kill's Minnesota team. If any of the Bottom feeders has not had a chance to 'prove' themselves it's Miami.

The Bulls, who are at least competitive in most games this season, are a chance for Miami to separate themselves from the bottom of the conference. A chance they need with teams like Temple, WMU, and Ohio still on the docket.

Last year Miami went to Amherst and took place in the conference wide welcome party for Coach Jeff Quinn. This season Buffalo hopes to return the favor for Don Treadwell.

Here is the Redhawks Season to date:
