Buffalo Men's Soccer ends exhibition series with dominant 6-1 victory over Rochester

Heading into the final tuneup before their regular season opener against Daemen this Friday at UB Stadium, Stu RIddle's squad had a defensive slugfest with Division III University of Rochester until the Bulls' offense overwhelmed Rochester in the second half.

It was a tale of two halves with a defensive slugfest in the first half followed by an offensive explosion from UB that saw 4 goals in the span of about 15 minutes. While Russell Cicerone did finish with 2 goals, Braden Scales' work on the ball was a key.

Scales was again a big part of the Buffalo attack with a keen nose for the ball along the right wing, finding newcomer Rikard Lindqvist for the second goal of the evening. Scales also scored off of a Cicerone cross in the 75th minute to put UB up 5-0. As I said on the podcast last night Scales will be just as instrumental as Cicerone and Cramarossa to the success of the team.
