Another week, another step forward for Anthone Taylor, who reenters the two-deep for Kent State as the nominal backup at running back. There are a few other moves, but the other injury-related shuffle is at right guard, where Dillon Guy is apparently out after a midgame injury last week.
I imagine we'll learn more about both from Lance Leipold's press conference later today. For now, a few other changes on the depth chart:
Roubbens Joseph only entered the two-deep a week or so ago, but is now starting on the offensive line. The first-year Bull with JUCO experience will be key to the UB offense. Todd Therrien backfills behind him.
On defense, the only changes are on the line, where Solomon Jackson has played his way into starting snaps and Charles and Demone Harris shuffle around behind him and Brandon Crawford, who remains the starter on the other side.
It's likely a sign partly of Anthone Taylor's health and partly of Jordan Johnson's increasing role that the Western New York native is no longer listed at kick returner and has been replaced by Devin Campbell, who set a new UB career mark in kick return yards last week.
