It's time to get back into swing of things as the Buffalo Bulls look to end non conference with a winning record. Last week, UB faced VCU in a turnover fest that would no doubt cost them the game. Buffalo returns to Alumni Arena this week to face Delaware. So without further ado, here's our preview of them:
Head Coach: Monte Ross (130-166, 10th year with Delaware)
Date/Time: 12/28/15, 7:00 PM
Opponent's Mascot: a Blue Hen (At least it's original)
Current Record: 5-5
2014-15 Season Record: 10-20 (9-9 Colonial Athletic Association)
Postseason: Did not receive postseason bid
All-Time Series: The series is tied 1-1
Opponent's Roster and Stats
Delaware is an interesting team to look at. Only four of their players have played in every single game to date. It looks like they're still trying to figure out their rotation. They're having a little trouble generating assists and they shoot the ball about as well as us. Kory Holden is definitely the star of this team as he's proving to be a decent all around guard with 18 points per game, 3 rebounds per game, and 4 assists per game. Marvin King-Davis is another one to look out for as he's shooting the ball very well and crashing the boards.
- Lost to Temple
- Lost to Boston College
- Lost to #17 Villanova
Can We Win?
This should be a solid win heading into conference play. The team has been right on track with expectations until now and hopefully we start to see the offense gain some rhythm. I expect a healthy 10 point win out of this one.
