Jeenathan Williams continues to make a case for MAC player of the year with a 25 point, 14 rebound afternoon which led to a 85-69 win over Western Michigan.
The game was back and fourth most of the first half, but in a replay from the Ball State game, Buffalo came out on fire in the second and cruised to a comfortable win.
In addition to the work put in by Williams Buffalo got 14 points from Ronaldo Segu, Josh Mballa and Jayvon Graves. Mballa added nine rebounds and Graves had seven rebounds.
With the win Buffalo moves to 5-3 on the season and 3-1 in conference play. They are sitting at third behind Toledo (6-0) and Bowling Green (5-1).
UB’s next game is against Bowling Green on the 15th.
