Floyd Dozier, considered to be one of the top 100 defensive tackles coming out of high school this year, has verbally committed to come to Buffalo for his college ball.

Dozer, from Palmetto Florida, picked UB over offers from 17 other schools. Among those other offers was Iowa State, Colorado State, UCF, and several Mid American conference schools.
During his junior season Dozier racked up 58 tackles, including 17 tackles for loss, four sacks and an interception. In a very football rich Sarasota-Manatee-Venice-Charlotte area Dozier was given Honorable mention on the all-area team.
Dozier is the latest in a deluge of three star recruits that has lifted UB’s current “recruiting ranking” to number three in the MAC. The infrastructure improvements around the program, and the improved and consistent performance of the team has made Buffalo more desirable target for the class of 2021 than it has ever been, and the Coaching staff are doing a fantastic job of capitalizing on that.
