Buffalo helped untangle the log jam in the top, right now UB and WMU are without a doubt the top two and seem to be on track for a meeting in Detroit.

Rank Team PR Δ Comment
Buffalo 1 0 It was only mercy for Kent and an abundance of caution which got Patterson out of the game, before he broke the NCAA all time record.
WMU 2 0 The Bronco's did what really great teams do, survive a tight game. It's still very reasonable to say they are the favorite in the MAC
Kent 3 0 Kent just ran into a buzzsaw, or rather a buzzsaw ran into Kent. But despite the lopsided score Kent's offense showed it can carry them against almost anyone.
CMU 5 1 Yes they were down big all game to EMU, but scoring 25 in the 4th, plus their resume, shows why CMU was picked by some to win the west.
Miami 6 1 Back from their break, and putting down Akron. Their game against Kent next week is needed by both teams to stay in the race for the East.
Ball State 7 1 BSU nearly let Toledo complete the comeback, but managed to hold on. It's looking like the week six matchup with WMU might determine the West division.
Toledo 4 -3 Hard loss for the rockets who are effectively out of the race for the MAC West
Ohio 8 0 Ohio may have trouble holding their ranking with Rourke out, but the Bobcats have a history of success against Buffalo in Athens.
NIU 9 0 If this was a 12 game season with some out of conference play NIU could push six wins. They really have the framework for a great team but too green at this point.
EMU 10 0 Nobody snatches defeat from the jaws of victory better than EMU.
Bowling Green 11 0 Believe it or not things look worse off the field than they do on the field at Bowling Green.
Akron 12 0 Akron's best chance for a win this season comes in the MAC's pillow fight of the year, next week, when the Zips and Falcon's square off.
