One game in, and while the injury report is still short, it’s grown a bit from last week.
Linebacker Kadofi Wright left the Robert Morris game early and was carted off the sideline. Rumor around campus was that Wright had suffered a high ankle sprain, but he’s still listed atop the two-deep, so that’s something. UB’s run defense notably suffered in the second half against the Colonials, and I keep coming back to Wright’s absence, correctly or otherwise.
It may also be worth noting that safety Dev Lamour fell off the two deep from last week, though whether that’s to injury I’m uncertain.
Receiver Antonio Nunn is now unlisted on the two-deep, dealing with a leg injury, though Lance Leipold in press availability this week said he was “day to day”. Following graduation and transfers, Nunn is UB’s most experienced returning receiver, with 26 catches for 443 yards and 2 touchdowns, both 50+ yards, in two seasons so far in Amherst.
I’ll again list Jovany Ruiz, but out with season-ending surgery and with no catches to his name in Buffalo yet,
