Gallion flew under the radar for the majority of his high school career, garnering reported interest from only 3 D1 schools, however after a stellar performance last week at the All American Availables event (see highlights below), at least 3 more schools are showing interest, including Buffalo. Buffalo fans shouldn’t worry about the lack of stars next to his name, as one C.J. Massinburg taught us. Gallion actually has a game reminiscent of Mr. Buckets, he’s a bonafide bucket getter despite not possessing athleticism that jumps out at you. Gallion relies on his craftiness and outside shooting touch to score his points. Due to his score-first mentality, Gallion projects to be an off-ball guard at the D1 level. With two all-MAC caliber off-ball guards in Jayvon Graves and Antwain Johnson already on the roster, it’s hard to see how Gallion could fit into the rotation right off the bat, however he could be a solid contributor down the road as a four year player.
