The University at Buffalo football team has signed an agreement to play a pair of Big Ten opponents in future seasons. It was announced on Wednesday the Bulls will play at Ohio State in 2020 and at Maryland in 2022.
The games will likely bring in about a million dollars each to the department, Bull Run has submitted requests to the department to see the contracts.
This is UB’s second trip to Columbus. The first was the season opener in 2013 where the Bulls put a slight scare into the Buckeye, but eventually fell 40-20. In that game Khalil Mack’s draft stock went from first day, to first five.
The future fifth pick put up nine tackles, 2.5 sacks and a pick six.
UB has never before player Maryland.
UB now has quite a few Big10 games on their future schedule. For the next six seasons there are games lined up.
2018 - Rutgers
2019 - Penn State
2020 - Ohio State
2021 - Nebraska
2022 - Maryland
2023 - Wisconsin
It should be noted that the game against Ohio State in 2020 is one of two P5 paycheck games. The other being at Kansas State.
