For the past few weeks Ball State has been the talk of the MAC, with a nine game wining streak that included victories over some quality opponents. But five Bulls scored in double digits and a suffocating UB defense put the Cards down early and kept them down.

Jayvon Graves and Jeremy Harris scored 16 a piece, Nick Perkins chipped in 15 points off the bench while CJ Massinburg and Wes Clark scored 13 and 10 respectively.

C.J. Buckets also added seven rebounds, five assists and three steals.

After Ishmael El-Amin made a three point jumper to bring score to Buffalo 11, Ball State 10, the Bulls went on a 16-4 run bringing the score to 27-14. UB closed out the half with a 43-25 lead.

Ball State tried to make runs a couple of times, but never got it back to within ten. The Bulls were simply too athletic and too focused for the Cards to make a serious comeback attempt.

UB is back in action Tuesday, at Akron.
