White North Wednesday

Naaman Roosevelt is not racking up numbers at hte same pace last year but he’s still seventh in the CFL in yards per game, 10th in total yards receiving, tied for 10th in touchdowns, and eighth in receptions.

This past week, in a win over Toronto, Roosevelt had five receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown.

Ernest Jackson is still getting used to the system in Montreal. In the CFL this season he is twentieth in receptions and twelfth in yards. This past week Jackson had 4 receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown.

Drew Willy still has not made an appearance in Montreal.

Natey Adjei has been playing really well on Special teams, but this week he was kept off the stat sheet. Adjei still managed to have some fun after the game.

Finally, there were reports that Jake Silas was close to walking away from the CFL in the off season. He had an injury and being an “import” player is challenging in the CFL trenches.

But the defending champion Ottawa REDBLACKS have had a lot of trouble on the line this year so Silas, who has not been tested since coming back from a shoulder injury, may be inserted into this weeks starting lineup.
