Minor League Monday

Tom Murphy - After being optioned back to Albuquerque his batting has picked up a little.

Murphy is not blowing the doors off anyone but in the past week he was 4 for 13, with a hit and an RBI.

Steve Geltz - Geltz finally got of the DL in Oklahoma City.

In his first game back Geltz came in and pitched a solid 1-2-3 relief inning

Mike Burke - Just one appearance this week.

Burk got in last Tuesday and pitched two innings and gave up a walk, a hit, and a run but the Keys prevailed 5-3.

Nick Sinay - Once again Sinay did his best work in the field

Sinay also managed to get HBP. He’s up to 28 on the season which is just seven short of a league record.

Mike Kaelin - Got shelled this week

Two appearances, each just an inning, each giving up four hits and three runs.

Blair Lakso - Also had a rough week

In one two inning stint Lakso gave up five runs and took the loss.

Logan Harasta - Has not pitched since July 2nd and I am seeing notes on line that he has had Tommy John surgery. But as his status on MILB.com is still active I do not know if those notes are current and or true.
