Bulls during NFL / CFL Camps: John Kling

With Permission - UBBulls.com

Over the next week or two, before we start ramping up our 2017 football coverage, Bull Run is going to be taking a look at all the Bulls who are in an NFL or CFL camp. Some of these players are proven assets and others are long shot tryout players.

Previously we have talked about Roubbens Joseph, today we will review John Kling.

Last year Kling had a camp stint with the bears, appearing in one preseason game. After being released he joined the CFL as a practice squad member of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. When the CFL season was over Kling signed with the Philadelphia Soul, of the Arena League.

Kling is listed on NFL.com as being 6’8, and he is well over 300 pounds. As a sophomore lineman at Buffalo, Kling took over for an injured teammate and never looked back. Starting every game for the rest of his UB career.

In addition to his size Kling brings the flexibility of a guy who played on both the right and left sides of the line. He will need that as Washington have 14 linemen on their roster.
