It’s that time of year, just before spring ball, when the graduating UB senior football players will show off what they can do in front of NFL scouts. They will gather at the ADPRO Sports Training Center Fieldhouse, near Ralph Wilson Stadium.
No Bulls were invited to the NFL combine this year, and no Bulls are getting looks in the early mock draft sites I have been looking at.
You have to think that players Jordan Johnson and Brandon Crawford will have to be at their best to get a look in the late rounds, or as free agents.
The list of 2017 UB seniors present is; Mike Abanikanda, Brandon Crawford, Remaine Douglas, Torey Hendrick, Jordan Johnson, Roubbens Joseph, Joe Keels, Marcus McGill, Malcolm Robinson, Boise Ross, Mason Schreck.
Kyril Threats is also back, as are seven players from other FCS and lower division schools.
There are going to be scouts from ten NFL teams in attendance. The Buffalo Bills, as the hosts, will also welcome scouts from the New England Patriots, Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos, San Diego Chargers, Indianapolis Colts, Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears, Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Tampa Bay Bucs.
Two CFL teams have confirmed they plan on attending. The Toronto Argonauts and Calgary Stampeders are sending a contingent.
Good luck to the Bulls taking part.
