Buffalo’s Early signing Class added Dan Fedor, an offensive tackle from Elmira New York.
Fedor checks in at 285. He will probably need to bulk up a little bit before he can be a factor on the UB line but he stands 6-7 so getting the extra bulk should not be too much of an issues once the strength and conditioning staff gets a hold of him.
Fedor was under-recruited, perhaps he committed back to UB early in the recruiting season. The Bulls coaching staff found a real gem. They stayed in contact with Fedor throughout the spring inking the lineman in June.
Last week Fedor, took home the annual Ernie Davis Award. He was an all state lineman his junior season and he’s likely to receive the honor again this year. He has already been named all region by pressconnects.com.
This past year the line at Elmira stacked up more than 3,900 rushing yards and won the NY Section 4 Class AA championship. In total, through four years of starts, Fedor has blocked for total of 15,416 yards on the ground.
It’s a good local recruit, something the staff seems to have really focused on this year.
