After a somewhat disappointing draw against the Albany Great Danes, Stu Riddle's team, and Russell Cicerone in particular put on an offensive clinic in their second exhibition match against Mercyhurst.
Much of the first half featured a back-and-forth between the teams before David Enstrom scored on a beautiful set-piece from Daniel Cramarossa in the 37th minute. Russell Cicerone would score his first of the match just before halftime to give UB a 2 goal advantage after 45 minutes.
Then, Russell Cicerone did what he does best and scored less than 30 seconds after the opening whistle of the second half. Daniel Cramarossa showed excellent on the ball skills the entire match and again reinforced why he's such an important part of the offense.
Rikard Lindvist would set up CIcerone's 3rd on a beautiful cross that was redirected by fellow freshman Ethan Witkowski to Cicerone.
I have a full breakdown of the match in the above video.
