Steve Geltz - Tamp Bay
Another solid week for Geltz. The short reliver saw action in four games this past week, throwing a total of 3.1 innings and giving up no runs. His role may be only an inning here or there but its starting to add up.
The right hander from Buffalo leads all pitchers in the majors for games played.
#Rays Steve Geltz looks strong in his league leading 54th appearance of the season retiring the Mets in order striking one - 5-4 Rays B7

Tom Murphy - Albuquerque (AAA)
As good as Geltz was on the week Murphy was better. He has only been playing AAA ball for slightly more than two weeks but he is already turning heads.
This was his third home run of the week. So far with the Topes' Murphy is batting a cool .315 with four home runs and 10 RBI's in just 13 games. Odds are he stays with them this season but it would not be shocking to see him called up to Colorado.
Jason Kanzler - For Myers (A+)
Not Kanzler's best week but he did manage three hits, three runs, and an RBI.
Mike Burke - Delmarva (A)
Burke had two appearances. In those game UB's strikeout king put in 5.2 innings giving up two hits, two runs, and striking out six.
Nick Sinay - Bluefield (ROK)
Sinay was held hitless in three at bats but did manage to get on base via a walk.
Tyler Mautner - Watertown (NCBL)
Mautner was cut by the Twins earlier this year but showed up playing for Watertown of the North Country Baseball League.
