Incoming freshman Mirte Scheper played sparingly for the Netherlands during the European U20 Women's Basketball Championships this summer. She played in 6 of her team's 9 games, averaging 6.5 minutes per game, 0.7 points per game, 1.8 rebounds per game and 0.3 blocked shots per game. UB has Scheper listed at 6-5, but FIBA lists her at 6-3 (1.91m). The Netherlands finished third in Group A, which probably means there were some very good front line players on the team, accounting for her low minutes per game.
