Buechel amassed 347 passing yards to go with his two touchdowns.

Army Army 47 - Buffalo 39 1-0 FBS IND 0-0 at Stanford

Army Scores 47 Points on Buffalo - Bull Run
In the wake of losing Khalil Mack, Najja Johnson, Colby Way, Derek Brim and a host of defensive starters, do the Bulls have the players to win seven games this year, even with two FCS teams on the schedule? Right now it certainly does not look like UB has a squad and coaching needed to stop other teams for 60 minutes.

Baylor Baylor 70 - NW State 6 2-0 B12 0-0 at Buffalo

Baylor Bears Thwomp Northwestern State Demons, 70-6 - Our Daily Bears
Well folks, last week we got a good glimpse at what KD Cannon can do, with a long touchdown grab. This week, we got a much longer look. Despite the TV broadcast going out for most of the second quarter, Baylor fans were treated to a masterful performance by the true freshman receiver out of Mount Pleasant.

Norfolk St. Liberty 17 - Norfolk 7 0-2 MEAC 0-0 at William and Mary

Liberty Flames vs. Norfolk State Spartans - Recap - September 06, 2014 - ESPN
The Spartans drove to Liberty's 18 in the first quarter but were stopped when Jacob Hagen forced a fumble that was recovered by Tyrin Holloway. Norfolk State never got past Liberty's 40 for the rest of the game.

Miami E Kentucky 17 - Miami 10 0-2 MAC 0-0 at Michigan

Miami RedHawks vs. Eastern Kentucky Colonels Game Recap: RedHawks Fall 17-10 - Hustle Belt
The last time Miami won a football game was a thriller over then No. 23 Ohio back on October 27, 2012. That’s 97 weeks since the RedHawks have tasted victory. And it will be, at the very least, one more week until they get a chance to end the dry spell, because the Red and White snatched defeat from the jaws of victory against the Colonels of Eastern Kentucky Saturday afternoon in a 17-10 heartbreaker.

BGSU Bowling Green 48 - VMI 7 1-1 MAC 0-0 vs Indiana

FalconBlog--Triumphs and Trials in the BGSU Falcon Nation: Falcons Get First Win....
Injury issues continue to plague this team. With Johnson out and Colvin reported out, things got a little tougher. DJ Lynch left the game with what appeared to be a serious injury and Jude Adjei-Barimah also left with a leg injury and did not return. Coach had no update on Lynch after the game and wasn't asked about Adjei-Barimah, so we don't know. Tough situation, though, with the offensive juggernaut from Indiana coming in next week.

EMU Florida 65 - EMU 0 1-1 MAC 0-0 at ODU

Florida 65, EMU 0 - Eagle Totem Eagle Totem
As many bad games as EMU has had in 123 years, this game tied for the eighth most points allowed, and the fourth worst margin of loss. In both measures, this was EMU’s worst outing since Bleak Friday — November 26, 2010, against Northern Illinois.

CMU CMU 38 - Purdue 17 2-0 MAC 0-0 vs Syracuse

B1G Game Hunter: Central Michigan stuns Purdue, 38-17 - Hustle Belt
Fired up doesn't quite begin to describe the fan base of Central Michigan and the fortunate few who traveled down to West Lafayette, Indiana on Saturday. The Chippewas (2-0) torched Purdue (1-1) in Ross-Ade Stadium 38-17, and got on the board early and often.

Ohio Kentucky 20 - Ohio 3 1-1 MAC 1-0 at Marshall

BobcatAttack.com - For Fans of Ohio University Sports
The Wildcats (2-0) scored touchdowns on their first two possessions and neither team found the end zone in the final three and a half quarters as defense dominated. The Bobcats (1-1) were held to 223 yards of offense. Kentucky had 402 yards, but 155 of those came on its first two possessions before Ohio’s defense began matching its foes’.

Akron Penn State 21 - Akron 3 1-1 MAC 0-0 Bye

Akron Zips vs. Penn State Nittany Lions Recap: Missed Opportunities Hurt Akron - Hustle Belt
Akron's downfall can be pointed to one thing: missed opportunities. The first drive of the game was a great one. Kyle Pohl was finding open receivers and Jawon Chisholm was gaining some yards on the ground. The Zips had a first and goal at the Penn State seven-yard line, and after two consecutive sacks (and a burnt timeout) Akron had to settle for what should have been a chip-shot field goal. Should have been is the operative term, as the 25-yard field goal was shanked by freshman kicker Tom O'Leary. That's O'Leary's second missed field goal under thirty yards this year.

Kent S Alabama 23 - Kent 13 0-2 MAC 0-1 at Ohio State

Kent State Golden Flashes vs. South Alabama Jaguars Game Recap: USA Wins 23-13 - Hustle Belt
The game started off on a promising note when the Jaguars were forced to punt after a three-play series with a loss of one yard. But a South Alabama blitz by linebacker Davin Hawkins pressured KSU quarterback Colin Reardon in the end zone, forcing a safety and giving South Alabama the first two points in the game. Later in the quarter, Nate Holley made a diving interception of a tipped ball in the back of the need zone, but a pass interference call on Najee Murray gave the Jaguars a first and goal. Two plays later, senior quarterback Brandon Bridge hit wide receiver Shavaraz Smith for a one-yard touchdown, and the Jaguars leapt ahead of KSU 9-0 in the first quarter.

UMass Colorado 41 - UMass 38 0-2 MAC 0-0 at Vanderbilt

Buffaloes Survive UMass 41-38 - The Ralphie Report
Remember when the Buffs were 17 point favorites? That sure was fun. After a miserable showing going into halftime, Colorado actually came out and won, 41-38. Now, there are some positives here, the most obvious being winning, but there are huge question marks that this game didn't answer. Let's get to the game.
