Ernest Jackson is going to get a second shot to land one of the "import" positions on the BC Lions Offense. In the first game Jackson was slated as the first string wide out but he was only targeted once during the first half and it ended up being an incomplete pass.
In his first season at BC Jackson showed he could be a solid contributor. He saw action in nine more games and ended up with 347 yards on 27 receptions including four games with four or more catches. He also picked up valuable rushing yards as well averaging 10.8 yards on eight carries including a 15-yard TD run against Saskatchewan.
But last season he did not see the field and this year Jackson has not gotten the preseason targets he needs. In tonight's game the for UB star has been moved from the starting wideout to the slotback behind fellow import Korey Williams.
Kickoff is at 10pm and the match will the the last of the CFL preseason.
