It was disappointing to see Fred Lee not land a spot on the Bills 90 man roster but both Colby Way and Derek Brim are holding on after the teams rookie camp. The SBNation home for all things Buffalo Bills related printed the current depth cart, as they see it.
Almost half of this roster will be gone by the time the regular season kicks off and both Brim and Way have a lot of work to do if they want to be there. If the guys over at Buffalo Rumblings are right both ex UB Bulls sit at the end of the depth chart in their respective positions.
|UT||K. Williams||C. Bryant||J. Wynn||I. Igbinosun||C. Way|
|S||A. Williams||D. Williams||J. Harley||D. Brim|
The first round of cuts, taking the roster down to 75 players, is usually in mid to late August. Brim may have to overtake Jajuan Harley, a second year player who signed with Seattle after going drafted from Middle Tennessee in last seasons draft.
For Colby Way there is even more to overcome. At the very least he will have to impress more than ikponmwosa igbinosun. He's been in the league for a year after gradating from Southern Connecticut State. He was another undrafted Free Agent last season, eventually signing with the Cowboys.
Right now Jarius Wynn, a sixth year player out of Georgia is also in Colby's way. Wynn has a lot of playing experience in six years, with three franchises. Way's advantage here is that Wynn is not eligible for the scout team, as a rookie Way would also put a much smaller hit into the Bills salary cap.
