For Javon McCrea leading the UB in all-time scoring and winning the MAC player of the year may not be the only honors he gets this offseason.
This would be another huge award for a growing UB program. Javon McCrea was my personal favorite player to ever play for the Bulls. We were lucky to have someone like him represent our program.
The award that is being given out is for top mid-major player in the country. The award is named in honor of Lou Henson who retired after a spectacular coaching career that lasted 41 years. Best of luck to Javon against the other 30 nominees.
