What Records will be challenged when Buffalo plays Bowling Green?

Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

For the first time this season it's very unlikely that Joe Licata will pass anyone in the record books this week. He would need 79 completions, 217 attempts, 658 yards, or 7 touchdowns to pass any former UB quarterback. With a pair of big games, he may start climbing again next week in a couple of those categories, but can only get closer to a move against the Falcons.

One guy moving up every week is Anthone Taylor. His 200+ yard game against Miami moved him into 22nd all time for Buffalo and he is now ranked 20th all time for rushing touchdowns. He should climb into the top 20 in two or three categories this week.

On the defensive side of the ball Lee Skinner is set to move past Cosmo Nestola if he manages six assisted tackles. For the senior Linebacker, six assists would be an average day's work. Given Bowling Green's increased pace, Skinner will get a ton of chances.
