The Mid-American Conference announced its preseason men's basketball poll today and they don't like UB nearly as much as KenPom does. The State University of New York was picked to finish fourth in the MAC East, despite winning their first ever outright East Division under new coach Bobby Hurley last season.

Buffalo lost Javon McCrea, Joshua Freelove, and three other seniors. In all the Bulls are adding seven new faces to their team this year. UB opens the regular season on Friday, Nov. 14 when they host South Dakota State at 7:30.  The Bulls will host Wheeling Jesuit in an exhibtion game next Thursday, Nov. 6 at 7:00 pm.

On a slightly more encouraging note Will Regan was named to the preseason All-MAC East squad.

Regan, a transfer from Virginia, is UB's the top returning scorer, coming off a year where he averaged 10.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

In addition to Regan, also welcome back Shannon Evans, who was named to the Kyle Macy Freshman All-Americateam and was an All-MAC Freshman selection last year.

Regan joins Demetrius Treadwell from Akron, Richaun Holmes from Bowling Green, Kris Brewer from Kent State and Maurice Ndour from Ohio on the All-East Division team.
