Week Two of BRuWPeG. It is Baylor Time

Happy Labor Day Everyone,

Now this is why I created this game.  To help build the excitement of UB college football.   I have to say that I am pretty excited to see what the picks will be for this game (next week just how many points will be predicted for UB) and the balance of the MAC schedule.

Vegas line has Baylor favored as high as 27 with an over under of 69.  Vegas is calling this game at 48 - 21 Baylor.  Let me get this straight.  If OSU was to go to Baylor this weekend. Using Vegas numbers, than Baylor would be a 4 point underdog at home.  I ain't buying it.  How did I get that number.  UB was a 35 point underdog in Columbus.  That is a seven point swing between the two games.  Take away the obligatory three points the home team receives and that makes OSU 4 point favorite.   Well this game is going to show us:  1.  OSU is really not as good as predicted if Baylor covers and then Baylor is better than a number #23 team.  2.  Baylor is over-hyped.  3.  Buffalo received no credit the first two weeks of the season.

I watched the replay of the Baylor vs. Wofford game.  Baylor beat up Wofford 69 - 3 as game time temperatures hit the Edge 103.3.  It was the most points for Baylor since an 88-0 victory against Stephen F. Austin in 1929. Here are my thoughts and I am doing it Urban Meyer without mentioning any Baylor names like RB for Baylor Seastrunk or QB Bryce Petty.

Baylor have fast experience receivers.  UB's secondary need to step up.

Baylor QB is no Miller.  He is a Licata type pocket passer.  Baylor QB meet Mr. Mack.

The little RB guy for Baylor is very solid.  Baylor has a burner and bruiser tandem that works really well.

Wofford is terrible.

Big O line and also a defensive core that has been starting for three years.  Not as big and fast as OSU but this team is well rounded.

Buffalo and Baylor both have terrible tarps over stands in the end zone.  Good news for Baylor as they will be christening a new stadium next year.

Wofford is TERRIBLE.

And most importantly, Baylor has some good looking cheerleaders!
