Ishmael Hargrove, a wide receiver and defensive back out of Bedford, Ohio has given a verbal commitment to Buffalo according to 247 sports. Hargrove spent the first three years of his high school career playing for St. Peter Chanel. That school however closed at the end of last school year forcing him to transfer to Glimour Academy.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound senior has been recruitied by Buffalo to play Safety. His new coach Shawn Dodd said Hargrove is a unique combination athlete who will play safety, linebacker and receiver for the Lancers. Meaning if he can be a safety or possibly a future drop linebacker in Lou Tepper's defense.
Hargrove had also fielded interest from Toledo and Eastern Michigan but thought UB would be the best fit.
Hargrove was also on the track team and a basketball player at St. Peter's will continue both of those sports at his new High School.
