Highlights: Cortney Reshirted in 2010.

Highlights: Lester won the starting job at corner in preseason and started all 12 games in 2011. Lester finished the season 5th in tackles with 54, and led all Bulls with 2 interceptions.

Highlights: Lester started 11 of 12 games (missing the Miami game). Lester's tackle numbers fell to 39, but he made up for that with 4 interceptions, one returned for a touchdown against Toledo and three in the WMU game to propel UB to victory.

Outlook: With 23 starts under his belt and Najja Johnson on the other corner, UB's secondary moves from biggest weakness to one of UB's strengths. Although appreciated here (and probably in Kalamazoo) Lester has not garnered respect in the MAC. His counterpart Najja Johnson was named to Phil Steele's first team All-MAC team. Despite finishing 2nd to Johnson in interceptions in 2012, 7 other MAC corners were honored by Steele. Hopefully MAC QB's will likewise underestimate Lester, he may get a few more 3-interception games.

Record Watch: Halfway through his college career, Lester has 6 interceptions: 4 back from 10th place on UB's career list and 13 back from #1 all time. He also has 16 Passes Defended, 9 back from #10 all time and 23 back from UB's career record.
