Road Warrior - Kent State - There has to be something to do at Kent right?

Traveling to a UB football game? Well We here at Bull Run just spent weeks driving around the MAC footprint to find out where you should pit stop and what you should do. If you are traveling to UB for a Buffalo home game we will cover those as well!

If you buy something from an SB Nation link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics statement.

Four of the last five UB games have been at home so you might be a bit spoiled by the convenience of playing in your own back yard or the privilege of being in an area with so much to do. Well that all ends now because you have to pack your things up and head to Kent.

Tickets

SB Nation is now partnered with Ticket Master so if you're not getting your tickets through UB then you can get them here on Bull Run via the Ticket Link

The Route

Time - Three and a half hours

Distance - 225 Miles

Tolls - $3.15

Just as you did in week you you'll drive down I-90 through along Lake Erie. With the leaves now starting to change it will be a very scenic drive, well worth the three dollar toll. It's really the the one time of year that the New York Thruway's lack of decent pit stops is a problem.

A word of Warning

Ohio is often saturated with construction and the state troopers in the Buckeye State love to hand out tickets. If you see a "fines doulbed in construction zone" believe that (1) They mean it, and (2) the whole state of Ohio is a construction zone.

Pit Stop

No real need to pit stop on this drive but if you must Erie Pennsylvania is a good spot. It's a decent sized city so there are a lot of good eateries, and a great view of the lake from Presque Isle.

Located at the gateway of Presque Isle State Park, Sara's is the must-stop hot spot for great Erie food and a great time. Visitors and locals agree--whether you're setting out for an afternoon of sun and sand or heading home after a day at the beach, you've gotta eat at Sara's. -- Sara'a and Sally's

And while you're there you can stretch you legs at Presque Isle state part which has some great views of Lake Erie.

So you get to Kent where to stay?

There are a few quaint places to stay but the best rated in the area is the Hampton Inn.

While You're in Kent What else should you do

The Pro football hall of fame in Canton Ohio is not too terribly far out of the way. You can go there after the game and check out the spot where Khalil Mack is destined to end up.
