Sat out last season with a severe shoulder injury.
As a Red shirt Freshman Pat Wilson started 11 games. That put him on a path to be part of Coach Quinn's rebuilding in Buffalo. Last season there was still some real experience on the line but depth would have given Wilson, even behind Ostrowski, a good amount of snaps.
Unfortunately an off season rotator cuff injury would keep Wilson from suiting up in 2012. Because of that Injury Gabriel Barbe was put on the left side of the line behind Ostrowski. The experience benefited Barbe who came out of this spring as the first line left tackle.
