Three-star Florida linebacker Ja'Varius Harrison commits to UB Football

Brian Borland gets a big linebacker for his defense.

Lance Leipold is on a roll. After a slower start to the recruiting period, UB Football has pulled in four recruits in the last week or so and apparently adds another today in three-star Florida linebacker and running back Jay Harrison.

Harrison is a three-star recruit by the 247sports composite rating who boasts eight offers in addition to UB, including rivals Kent State and Temple. Rivals reports that he's also garnered interest from UCF, USF, and Florida. North Florida Christian competes in a smaller classification as Florida schools go, but Harrison was named All-State at linebacker for Class 2A, while also qualifying for the state track meet in the spring.

We'll try to find more on Harrison in the next few hours.
