After a rough showing in their conference home opener UB is going to try to get the ball rolling on the road. UB starts a two game swing with a trip to Muncie Indiana to take on Ball State.
UB has had success against Ball State, winning three straight, including the last two at Worthen Arena. This will mark the first of two straight road games for the Bulls, who head to Miami on Friday night.
The Cardinals are coming off a against Toledo. Ball State has a win over
While Buffalo was getting beaten at home against NIU the Cards beat MAC west favorite Toledo 61-57 win in their MAC opener. BSU can be all kinds of scary this season, as their win against Georgia Tech proves.
But like Buffalo, BSU is not a consistent team. ALso, like Buffalo, Ball State is looking to new players this season after the graduation of a senior class that included Trey Moses and All-MAC guard Tayler Persons.
BSU is lead by Tahjai Teague, Ishmael El-Amin, and Josh Thompson.
These three players lead the most solid defense in the MAC but they are not the most efficient offense in the conference and that could be what the doctor ordered for UB’s transition offense.
Tipoff is 7:00pm and the game is on ESPN+
