Bulls and UMass set up a six game series

The UB football team announced today that they have set up a six-game football series with former MAC (football member) UMass. The series will start in 2022 and run through 2028

Games are to be played every year except 2023. The series will open at UMass on Oct. 15, 2022, followed by a game at UB Stadium on Sept. 14, 2024.

Buffalo leads the all-time series, 7-6, including a 3-1 mark when the Minutemen were members of the Mid-American Conference from 2012-2015. It’s worth noting that the lone UMass win was the difference between a 6-6 bowl eligible season and 5-7, sitting at home for the Bulls.

I’m glad to see a long term home and home agreement but this is a significant step down from the Army series which ended this season.
