Jayvon Graves hot from beyond the arc as the Bulls beat the Bobcats

NCAA Basketball: Ohio at Buffalo Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Sports

Can you say “Jayvon Buckets”.... Just kidding it will always be CJ Buckets but man didJayvon Graves put on a show tonight for the home crowd. Graves made 9 of 12 shots, including 7 of 9 from 3-point range for a career-high 26 points.

IWhile the Graves led all scores the team around him provided a lot of support. CJ Massinburg put up 20 and Jeenathan Williams scored 13, who set school records for 3-pointers made (19) and point scored against a Division I opponent.

In the end Buffalo drubbed the visiting Ohio Bobcats 114-67.

There was no slow start or sluggish half for UB, the Bulls left 52-27 at the half The sophomore guard shot the Bulls out to a 52-27 lead at halftime by making his first six 3-point attempts and matching his previous personal-best with 19 points in the first half.

With five games left UB has alreay tied their team record for wins, set last year.

Because they were playing at home the Bulls have to win big if they want to stey in the polls. Beating Ohio by almost 50 points might just do the trick provided the Bulls put up another strong game this Friday against Kent.
