The bird just went into the oven so while I have a break I thought I would just throw a happy Thanksgiving to the Bull Run community.
I am most of all, of course, thankful for the friends and family that God has put in my life. Thankful for my job, and my health. You know, the important things.
And I’m thankful for the community we have built here on Bull Run.
This fall I lost my father. While he was in the hospital, in his last days, some of the Bull Run community (I’m not naming names here because privacy and the like) reached out and invited us to sit with them at the Eastern Michigan game.
It was something that I and my two youngest kids needed.
It’s helped me to realize why I keep running the site, every time I think “grow up, Tim” I realize that we have a nice group of fans from all backgrounds who have connected, and built up relationships around ubfan and Bull Run.
I wish you all a great thanksgiving, and I hope your time with friends and family is deeply blessed.
May the roof above you never fall in. And may the friends gathered below it never fall out.
