Well after having the Gridiron Bulls leave us feeling empty inside the hardwood edition of UB Athletics came out and gave us something to feel pretty good about.
The Bulls went 2-0.
The Women got off to a really slow start, falling behind 28-20 after the first quarter but from that point Buffalo methodically gained on Columbia, overtaking them and holding on for the win. They cut the lead to one at the half and then overtook Columbia in the third quarter.
Four Bulls put up more than 10 points. They were led by Dyaisha Fair who’s 25 points get her at 26 per game on the year (good for sixth in the nation.
Hanna Hall added 14 points, including 4-of-8 from beyond the arc and a perfect 4-of-4 from the charity stripe, to go along with five rebounds and two assists.
Freshman Loren Christie recorded a career-high 13 points, including 3-of-7 from deep and senior Theresa Onwuka scored 14 points. Onwuka is currently 23rd in the nation.
With the win the Bulls move to 4-0 on the year and will be tested on a western trip which feature San Jose State (11/21) and Stanford (11/24).

The Men went up to Toronto to play a beat up Harvard team but found themselves in an Early hole.
Harvard started the game with 12-3 run and the Bulls were looking a lot like they did in their season opening loss against Dartmouth. The Bulls battled back to within a score a couple of times but each Time Harvard seemed to have an answer to pull away.
On their third run Buffalo finally overtook Harvard when Jeenathan Williams put in a layup with 1:41. At the end of the half Jayvon Graves beat the Buzzer with a near half court three which sent the Bulls into the half up 40-38.
The Crimson took a one point lead early in the second but a 13-2 UB run put the Bulls in the lead for good.
Segu led the Bulls with 21 points. He was 6-of-7 from the floor and a perfect 3-of-3 from three.
Johnson scored a career best 19 points on 5-of-7 shooting from behind the arc and Graves added 18 points and six rebounds.
Jeenathan Williams also made it to double figures, he scored 10 points and brought in eight rebounds. J
This week the Men play in the Charleston Classic, Zach will have a preview of the event up later in the week.

There was a suggestion in last weeks comments to change the Basket BRuWPeG to a “Game of the week” format, which I am more than willing to do.
Please tell me in the comments if you like this format
