#13 Buffalo Bulls down #4 Arizona Wildcats

NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-First Round-Buffalo vs Arizona Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The Buffalo Bulls did everything they had to do. They stayed out of foul trouble, shot the three well, and were relentless on defense.

Wes Clark scored 25 points, Jeremy Harris kicked in 23 and CJ Massinburg score 19.

But most impressively Davonta Jordan was everywhere on defense. He never let Arizona settle in and because of that the Wildcats, expected to win big down low, was out rebounded by the smaller Bulls.

Deandre Ayton, hyped as the best player in college hoops, managed 14 points and 13 rebounds but he was unable to drive the tempo of the game. Every time he scored UB seemed to have an answer.

For UB this is the programs first win in an NCAA tournament and it is the schools best win of the modern era. UB will face Kentucky on Saturday.
