The Syracuse Orange gave Buffalo everything they could handle, and led for most of the night, but Buffalo hung around because of great offensive rebounding. Despite some sloppy ball handling and real struggles the Bulls Defense kept them within two scores for the entire game.
Then about half way through the second half, down a handful of points, UB’s offense found their rhythm and the Bulls took the lead. When CJ Massinburg drained a three point shot with under three minutes left UB grew their lead to ten points.
From there Syracuse halted the run but could not chip away at the deficit.
The Bulls move to 11-0 and Syracuse loses two consecutive home non-conference game since the Ford Administration.
There is a lot to unpack and we will have more later, but for now it feels good to be a Bulls fan...
