Buffalo Bulls In The NFL - Khalil Mack, Steven Means, John Kling

Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

Week three of NFL preseason action continued tonight and two of the most dynamic Buffalo defenders of the past several years were on display tonight. Khalil Mack spent a lot of time getting illegally blocked by the Tennessee offensive line and Steven Means played well on defense.

Also in action tonight was the Chicago. John Kling is trying to earn a spot with the Bears.

Mack's stats in tonight's game were pretty meager. Khalil had only a tackle and a quarterback hit despite playing deep into the first half. A big part of that was plays like this.

Mack will get another crack at the Titans in week three.

Steven Means only had a single quarterback hit on the evening but, and this is important, Means was playing with the first-unit special teams.  That's a very good sign Means makes the final 53 man roster.

The last Bull in action, John Kling, didn't do anything to improve his chances tonight.

The Bears are very interested in his size but if Kling hangs on it will likely be as a member of Chicago's practice squad.

Josh Thomas apparently hurt his thumb last night, hopefully, it's nothing too serious.
