#5 UB Football Game - 1st Half

October 13, 2007 - UB 36, Toledo 19

UB started the game with a 35-yard Naaman Roosevelt kick return, a 4-yard Drew Willy to Naaman Roosvelt pass and a 45-yard James Starks rushing touchdown. Three plays later, Toledo's punter fumbled the snap, giving UB the ball at the 9. One play later, Starks ran in for his second TD of the game. Drew Willy added a 75-yard TD pass to Ernest Jackson and a 34 yard pass to Naaman Roosevelt to score 28 points in the first quarter. In the second quarter Larry Hutchinson sacked D.J. Lenehan for a safety to extend UB's lead to 30-10. Later, UB answered a Toledo TD with a 16-yard TD pass to Ernest Jackson. UB went into the half up 36-19.

Drew Willy was 8 for 10 for 170 yards and 2 (really 3) TDs. James Starks ran 12 times for 116 yards and 2 TDs in possibly one of the best offensive halves of football in UB history.
