Buffalo Bulls Spring Football - Day 1 Report

First Meet one of the New Bulls - Jordan Collier.

The unfortunate end of UAB football meant a lot of ball players in Alabama needed to find new places to play. Two of those players came to Buffalo. His senior year he went 6A Georgia Second Team as a defensive back. During the season recorded 70 tackles, 16 pass breakups, two interceptions and five forced fumbles.

Collier is fast and there is a powerful need for someone to step up on the corner and be that dominating presence in the defensive backfield.

Collier transfered into UB back in January. At UAB he was a redshirt so he still has four years of eligibility left.

Today practice was moved into the field house at Ralph Wilson stadium.

After months of waiting Leipold got the first of 15 spring practices out of the way.

"It's very exciting for our players. They went through all the conditioning, they've gone through the transition. I know our coaches were excited to get out and work with these guys." -- Lance Leipold

Practice continues on Friday.
