Hilliard Bradley at Marysville | ThisWeek Community News
Bradley returns seven starters on defense, including seniors Ryan Reffitt, Daniel Tepe and Walker Hamilton in the secondary and seniors Cameron Hart, Zack Popovec and Jacob Pugh at linebacker. Senior Skylar Hartley (6-foot-2, 305 pounds) started on the defensive line last season and has verbally committed to the University at Buffalo as a center.

Hartley is already tipping the scales at 300+ pounds. Hopefully a good season will get him ready for UB. You can never have too many good players in the trenches.

Football preview: Howard - The Washington Post
Buffalo-recruit RB Zach Nicholas led Mount Hebron (6-5) in 2012 with 13 touchdowns and 761 all-purpose yards gained.

UB's future backfield may include Nicholas.

Private school football preview: Cavaliers branch out, Admirals search for gold - CapitalGazette.com
The Cavaliers should compete for a top spot in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association’s A Conference. Schmitt inherits a team with a proven play-maker in senior signal-caller Zach Abey. Last season’s quarterback rating of 31.6 percent is deceiving. Abey threw just two touchdowns against seven interceptions in completing just 33 percent of his passes. However, while he threw for 605 yards, he also averaged 6.5 yards per rushing attempt — racking up 785. He also recorded 36 tackles and intercepted six passes as a cornerback.

Abey seems to be a good leader but his passing has left a lot to be desired. If he wants to challenge for the Job at UB he is going to have to improve.
