2011 Highlights: Zac Dystert threw for 5 TDs as Miami romped the Buffalo Bulls at Yager to avenge their first home loss to the Bulls in 2009. With 2 minutes to go in the first quarter, Chazz Anderson scored but UB missed the extra point, so they trailed 14-13. Miami would score again before the quarter ended. A 34 point quarter was very MACtion, and while Buffalo never scored again, Miami added 20 more points in victory. 


2012 Highlights: Saved by a miraculous conversion of a muffed field goal snap, the Bulls took a 24-17 lead late in a back an forth game. Miami converted a 4th and 20 with less than a minute remaining which seemed to send the game to OT. On the ensuing kickoff, Devin Campbell returned the ball to the Miami 35, and after a BO run to the 30, Patrick Clarke nailed a 47-yard game winning field goal as time elapsed.


2013 Outlook: With a new but experienced quarterback, Miami is not expected to compete in the MAC, but they could play the spoiler role again, or surprise the conference as they did in 2010.


Players To Watch: Austin Boucher and Jordan Lynch are two returning QB's who have won a MAC championship. Lynch's experience makes NIU a title favorite, we will see how Boucher's experience helps the Redhawks in 2013.
