The Buffalo news is reporting that UB has picked up their first verbal commitment of the season. Coach Quinn has begun to address the future needs at wide receiver with Kyvaune Brammer, a wide receiver from Brooklyn Tech.
Brammer, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound wide receiver/LB at Brooklyn Tech, is saying he will attend the University at Buffalo beginning in 2013, sources tell me. The Bulls had an in on this one. The principal at Brooklyn Tech, Randy Asher, is a UB grad. Brammer is the first known verbal in UB's 2013 recruiting class. -- - Bob DiCesare, Buffalo News
Ill try to outdo DiCesare's informational tid-bit and point out Brooklyn Tech is the sister school of Buffalo's Hutch Tech. The Hutch Tech Engineers gave UB Basketball a point guard named Rodney Pierce.
The all Brooklyn Wide receiver has a 34 inch vertical and benched a healthy 215 pounds. His time in the pro shuttle is a 4.13 and he can run the 40 down in the 4.6 range.
During his Junior Season he racked up 16 receptions for 365 yards and six touchdowns, his six touchdowns led the Public School Athletic League. He also doubled as a linebacker and picked up 19 solo tackles.
