Talking Bull: Mount USA .... I'm not dead

Whats not to love about the non existent conference that just wont go away?

Mountain West, Conference USA Union Not Quite Dead Yet -
As any current college sports fan knows, there seems to be no end to teams swapping conferences or other news regarding "conference realignment." In recent months, there have been reports that the planned merger between the Mountain West Conference and Conference USA has run into some problems, but representatives from both conferences stress that the plans are still in motion.

You know what this reminds me of?

Meanwhile the very real Sun Belt is getting ready to pull the trigger on their own expansion:

Sun Belt Expansion: Georgia State Could Get The Call-Up Soon -
The Georgia State Panthers, brand-new football school, have long planned on making a move to FBS as soon as possible, or so the buzz around Atlanta goes. The school recently approved a feasibility study regarding a jump to the top level, and you know how often feasibility studies come back negative.

Wait what? The Sun Belt is going to add someone who fits their institutional profiles, has potential for success, and is a perfect fit in their footprint... MAC, WAC, MWC, CUSA... TAKE NOTES!

Well so much for Ohio not losing *anyone* next year

MAC fans had a lot to worry about after OU beat Akron and the ran into the sweet sixteen. The Bobcats had no seniors and no players whos grades or behavior would keep them from returning.

The though running through my head was.. We have to play this exact same team next season and they will be one year more mature! And we won't have Watt!

Well OU did lose somebody...

Reports: Illinois agrees to deal with Ohio's Groce - College Basketball -, citing an unidentified source, reported that Groce is expected to meet with his team in Athens, Ohio, on Thursday and will be introduced at a news conference in Champaign later in the week.

Gorce, best described by Matt Susman as "An Albino Velociraptor' and who I will remember as someone who jumps around like a kid who put extra sugar on his kaboom is gone.

Bulls Righting the Ship - Sports - The Spectrum - University at Buffalo
Springs are not usually fun for the baseball team. Too often, the promise of a new beginning, and the expectations for greatness were quickly dashed by the time the season reached its midway point. Coming off of a 14-win season – and only three of those coming in the Mid-American Conference – outsiders felt the same coming into this year.
