Jesse Back was one of those guys who was on Jeff Quinn's radar while he was the offensive coordinator at Cincinnati. When Quinn set up his first camps at Buffalo Back was one of the first invitees and like so many others he walked away from his experience wanting to be "The Next Bull In"

Heading into the season Back was named to the the All-TriStateFootball.com First-Team. He finished all second team All Greater Catholic.
His team, the Lancers, ran an impressive 9-1 in the regular season but were surprising upended in the first round of the Ohio High School Division one playoffs. While it's hard to pull stats for a lineman Backs Name usually came up whenever the success of the LaSalle offense was the topic of conversation. He was, seen by many, as the leader of a line that helped several players obtain Division one offers.
When he is not blowing up the defensive line Back is doing his part on the track team. He is one of the better Discus and Shot Put throwers in the Grater Catholic conference.
