Jessika Schiffer, a sophomore guard on the UB Women’s Basketball Team, from Iserlohn, Germany, has decided to enter the Transfer Portal.
Schiffer played in 22 games this year, starting in two of those games, and averaged almost 16 minutes per game and 4.2 points per game. She was known as a strong three-point shooter, who shot 0.346 from beyond the arc, the best percentage on the team. Her season high was 14 points, set against Toledo, when she shot 4-for-6 from beyond the arc.
On her Instagram, Schiffer said:
I am grateful and blessed for all the things that I got to experience here at the University of Buffalo in my past two years. I am so thankful for the people I met and the relationships that I have built. We’re connected for life.
I want to say thank you to Coach Jack and the entire coaching staff for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this team and the journey we had. Thank you to the amazing teammates, the silver Bulls, my family and everyone who has supported me along the way.
I have made the decision to enter my name in the Transfer Portal and I’m excited for the next chapter.
