The media poll picked Buffalo to win the MAC and the coaches picked Miami. The two “favorites” are set to meet in week two.

In a six week season every game is important but tie breakers are going to be huge. A Buffalo win puts the Bulls two games over Miami and hands UB a tie breaker versus the RedHawks.

A Miami win would probably put Kent all alone atop the east as the Flashes play Bowling Green next week.
