A win is a win... right?
Buffalo moved to 4-3 with the victory over Akron, though the UB offense was less than impressive against a defense that they should have owned. Combined with the resurgence of UB’s kicking problems and I think it’s fair to say no game on our schedule is a give me.
If Buffalo wants six wins, and a shot at a bowl, they are going to need to split these next two. If UB want’s seven wins and a good shot at a bowl they almost certainly will need to win both.
What is ahead is back to back games against two of the direction Michigan schools,
First up, Central Michigan.
A win at home would get UB to 4-4 with four games left, two of them should be winnable (Kent and BG), one is a toss up (EMU), and one would be a mild upset (Toledo).
A loss would make the road trip to EMU a must win game, and the Bulls have not played well on the road this season.
